I'm Thibau Hopmans, an AI enablement & solutions engineer from Zonhoven, Belgium. I started out as the only frontend developer at a small startup, then built React components and Storybook libraries in Liferay projects at ACA Group. Now I focus on agentic engineering and automation, and still build custom applications when a team needs one. Outside work, I build hobby projects and automations with AI that make my daily life a bit easier.

      AI Enablement & Solutions Engineer

      I'm the go-to person for AI at ACA: I help colleagues use it in their daily work and automate internal processes, mostly with n8n. I focus on agentic engineering with Claude Code, OpenCode and MCP servers, and build custom applications when a process needs more than a workflow.

      Junior Solutions Engineer

      Liferay DXP work across different projects, in a larger team of experienced developers. I built and designed front-end components in Storybook for a client's design system, and shipped fixes and new components for a Flemish government housing platform.

    3. 2024

      Intern

      Built AI chatbots and improved search engines with the OpenAI API. Back-end in Spring Boot with LangChain, integrated into Liferay DXP, with an Angular interface. The internship led directly to my junior role.
